I sincerely appreciated [my lactation consultant’s] accepting, non-judgmental attitude and willingness to patiently walk me through a trying time. I will forever be thankful for her input.

-Erin M.

[My lactation consultant at the Breastfeeding Center was] very encouraging and supportive during a time when I was sleep deprived and admittedly, a big ball of emotions!

-Rachel U.

[Our lactation consultant] was really the best thing to happen to our family after a difficult pregnancy and birth.  We really thought breastfeeding would come easy, and when it didn’t, we were devastated.  She worked with us weekly for several weeks to help our baby learn to nurse and to help us support her while she learned.  We’ve now achieved our goal of exclusive breast feeding and it would not have been possible without her support.  I really hope we won’t encounter these problems again, but if we do, we know who to ask for help.

Mary C.

The Breastfeeding Center and the [lactation consultant] did an amazing job of supporting me and giving me information to help me have a successful breastfeeding relationship with my baby.

-Raquel A.

“Once my son was here, we went for an appointment with a lactation consultant who adjusted her schedule and came in early to fit us in the week of Christmas – above and beyond!”

-Elle B.

Saved my life, I was so adamant about breast feeding… until the baby got here. It hurt so bad I was cringing every time my little one was hungry. Thankfully I made an appointment for me my baby and my husband. They even fitted me for the correct breast shields and practiced breast pumping with me. They are life savers really and I was able to make a same day appt.
