Checking Your Parts:

First check to make sure that you have all the parts you need for the Ameda Platinum.

Your Pump Map:

Common Troubleshooting Questions

    1. Ensure the power cord is connected to the pump.

    2. Ensure grounded plug connection to electrical outlet.

    3. Ensure outlet has power.

    If this does not turn your pump on, text or call (202) 293-5182 and our staff will assist you from there!

    1. Ensure pump function is ON.

    2. Ensure “CHECK KIT” is not displayed on the window.

    1. Ensure pump function is ON.

    2. Ensure “CHECK KIT” is not shown in suction display window. (See question below regarding “CHECK KIT” error message”).

    2. Check flanges to make sure they are sealed against the breast/chest.

    3. Check that your parts are properly assembled.

    4. Check your tubing adapter.

    If this does not fix the issue, text or call (202) 293-5182 and our staff will assist you from there!

    1. Ensure tubing adapter is properly fitted into tubing adapter port on pump.

    2. Ensure one side of tubing adapter is closed if single pumping.

    3. Check that adapter cap is firmly snapped onto top of the flange. Also ensure the other side of the tubing is attached securely to the adapter cap.

    4. Ensure silicone diaphragm is in place inside the top of the flange.

    5. Ensure tubing and diaphragm are free of defects.

    6. Check that everything is sealed shut / tight.

  • This means that there is an issue with the pump, internally, and that it needs to be serviced by Ameda.
