Breastfeeding Outreach for Greater Washington is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that relies heavily on individual donations from our amazing clients.

As a leader in lactation education and promotion, our mission is to advance breastfeeding and successful parenting throughout the DC metro area by providing free and low cost professional instruction to families in a supportive community space.

We strive to fulfill our mission by providing expert-led free and low-cost classes and free private consultations with Board Certified Lactation Consultants for low-income families. We also offer a variety of other services including off-site classes for under-resourced communities, a nursing lounge and a milk depot.
