Sliding Fee Schedule

Our Sliding Scale program allows us to reduce or "slide" the fees for your Lactation Appointment, Class, or Hospital Grade Pump Rental. Eligibility is based on family income and family size. The minimum fee for any class or one on one appointment is $25. This minimum amount is due at the time of your visit, as well as payment for any other unpaid balances.

To apply for a sliding fee, please provide your most recent pay stub for the last 30 days, current personal income tax return or an unemployment benefit statement prior to scheduling your appointment.

Volunteer Trade Hours

Those who do not qualify for our Sliding Fee Schedule, can take advantage of our Volunteer Trade Hours program. This program offers a 1 hour lactation consultation in exchange for 2 hours of volunteer time here at The Center, to be completed within 6 months from the date of the consultation. We are a non-profit with no shortage of human resource needs at any given time! Hours can be donated by a friend or family member, can be banked prior to giving birth, or they can be donated anonymously for a specific person, or for anyone in need. Hours can be broken up and completed as needed (many parents choose to come in before or after one of our Support Groups) and can also be completed with your baby. To take advantage of our VTH Program, please let our staff know at the time of scheduling. Any hours not completed within 6 months will be invoiced for the full cost of the appointment.

Payment Plans

For those paying out of pocket in-full for an appointment or class, a payment plan can be set up for $50. The minimum amount due at the time of your appointment or class is $50, and payments can be set up weekly in increments of $50 until the cost of your appointment or class is met, at which point payments will automatically cease. If you are interested in this option, just let staff know at the time of scheduling, or at checkout.
