Donate Your Breastpump to a wider circle
A Wider Circle will accept donations of ONLY closed-system breastpumps. Any donated breastpump must be clean, and the donor must provide a new, factory-sealed set of tubing and parts for the recipient. Pump and parts must be boxed so as to stay together in transport.
Open-system pumps cannot be accepted for donation, but can be recycled with the manufacturer to keep them out of the landfill.
Of course, new and unused breastpumps, parts, and supplies like nursing pads or nipple cream can always be donated too!
Donate Baby Clothes to A wider circle
Items should be in-season, gently used, stain and odor-free. A Wider Circle accepts infant and toddler clothing.
Donate diapers or Formula
Donate to DC Diaper Bank! They accept new or unused donations of:
diapers (opened or outside the package is ok!)
formula (please check the dates)
baby food & toddler snacks
We cannot accept: strollers, carseats, other large items.
Donate Your Extra milk
We partner with the Mother’s Milk Bank at Austin to serve as a controlled collection point where families can donate their breast milk for premature babies, and also a distribution point where families come pick up pasteurized and screened milk for their newborns on an outpatient basis. We collected over 20,000 ounces of breast milk in 2015 when we started, and so far in 2019 we’ve collected – that’s a lot of milk for preemies and sick infants!
HMBANA milk banks depend on Milk Depot collection sites like The Breastfeeding Center, in order to meet the growing need for donor human milk as it is increasingly recognized as the standard of care for preterm and medically fragile babies.
Donate Your bras & Menstrual hygiene products
You can donate to I Support The Girls - they accept donations of new or used bras—nursing or otherwise—in any size, as long as they are in good condition. They also accept menstrual hygiene products of all kinds, with overnight maxi pads with wings being the greatest need. ISTG works with vetted organizations all over the world to distribute these donations to girls and women experiencing homelessness, so that no one need ever choose between a meal and maxi pads.
